What's a 3D ultrasound?

3D ultrasound is an advanced method which captures a true, three-­dimensional image of your baby, often allowing the ability to see specific facial features and well­ defined formation.

What's a 2D ultrasound?

2D ultrasound is the traditional method used for years. They provide flatter, two-dimensional, black and white images of your baby.

Are ultrasounds safe?

There's no evidence that scans are harmful, if used according to the guidelines. Ultrasound scans have been used in pregnancy for decades. The qualified sonographer will follow all the right guidelines to ensure that you and your baby are safe.

What can I do to improve the quality of the 3D images?

Hydration is very important! By drinking water on a daily basis, this will increase amniotic fluid. Amniotic fluid is the liquid that surrounds the baby during pregnancy and it's contained in the amniotic sac. Amniotic fluid increases the visibility of the baby during an ultrasound.

Can I bring family or friends?

Yes, you can bring up to 7 guests (not including yourself), a total of 8 people per appointment.

How early can you see the gender?

You can begin determining the gender at 14 weeks.

Do I need a full bladder for a 2D/3D/4D ultrasound?

You will need a full bladder only if you're between 8 to10 weeks of your pregnancy.

Who will be performing my sonogram?

Nancy Rocha is the owner and a certified sonographer with over 19 years of experience. She will be the only one performing your sonogram.

During pregnancy, when is the best time for a 3D/4D ultrasound?

The best time for a 3D/4D Ultrasound is between 28 to 32 weeks of pregnancy.

What If I'm not satisfied with my 3d 4d ultrasound?

Your delightfulness and satisfaction is our priority. We cannot guarantee that your 3D ultrasound pictures will be as clear as how you might expect them due to various reasons. Possible reasons are the baby’s position, placenta position, amount of amniotic fluid, and mother’s physical condition are some factors for a successful 3D ultrasound.

What if I'm having twins?

We do not charge an additional fee if you are having twins. We do not charge an additional fee due to the possibility of not being able to capture images of the second baby. When having twins, we do recommend a 3D/4D ultrasound at 25 weeks. After 25 weeks, the possibility of capturing images of the second baby decreases.
